Are you interested in the fundamentals of the Chinese economy and its transformation?

As part of the ‘China unter Xi Jinping‘ series, I will give a lecture on China’s economy at the Volkshochschule Linz (VHS Linz) on October 23, 2023, at 7:00 PM.

In the presentation, I will discuss China’s political-economic transformation since the beginning of the reform period in the late 1970s. I will primarily focus on the Chinese economy’s key drivers and its characteristic growth and development patterns. Against this backdrop, I will also address China’s recent economic challenges and difficulties, including the current crisis in the real estate sector.
